enThe ICPC-2 is used to classify and encode three elements of general practice or more generally of primary care . These are the reasons for encounter (from the perspective of the patient), the assessments made by the health professional (diagnosed conditions) and care procedures (implemented or planned). Bringing these elements can reconstruct episodes of care, making ICPC fully compatible with the orientation problems of the medical record.
